# Privacy Policy

We value your privacy. This policy explains how MediaClip (the "App") handles information when you use it.

## 1. Information We Process

Depending on features you use, the App may process:

- Data you manage in the App: playlists, media links, titles, covers, playback progress, and related metadata;
- Device/app information: system version, device model, app version (for diagnostics and support);
- Settings data: language, appearance, playback preferences, privacy lock settings;
- Sync data (if iCloud sync is enabled): playlist and configuration data synced through iCloud KVS across your devices on the same account.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data unrelated to App functionality.

## 2. How We Use Information

Information is used to:

- provide core features (playback, management, sync, downloads, etc.);
- improve reliability and user experience;
- respond to feedback and support requests;
- comply with legal obligations.

## 3. Storage and Security

- Most data is stored locally on your device;
- When iCloud sync is enabled, related data is stored via Apple's iCloud services;
- We apply reasonable safeguards, but no system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

## 4. Third-Party Services

The App may rely on third-party services (such as Apple iCloud, App Store, Cloudflare, and RevenueCat) to provide certain capabilities.  
Their data handling is governed by their own privacy policies.

## 5. Permissions

The App may request:

- Face ID / biometric access: to unlock Privacy Lock;
- Network access: for web loading, media resolution, scripts, and update config;
- Background audio capability: for background playback scenarios.

You can manage permissions in system settings.

## 6. Your Choices

You can:

- disable iCloud auto-sync in the App;
- delete local playlist/history data;
- uninstall the App to remove local data (as applicable).

## 7. Children's Privacy

If you are under the age of majority in your region, please use the App with guardian guidance.

## 8. Policy Updates

We may update this policy as features and legal requirements evolve. Updates will be reflected in-app or via app updates.
